Naturopathy

American Specialty Health Incorporated (ASH) provides one of the nations largest complementary health care networks both regionally and nationally for major health plans such as Aetna, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, CIGNA and Health Net.  We have been a pioneer since 1987 in creating networks for acupuncture, chiropractic, dietetic counseling, massage therapy, physical and occupational therapy, and naturopathy services with v 22,000 contracted providers in all 50 states.  We cover over 15.6 million members in benefit plans nationwide and over 90 million members in our ChooseHealthy affinity program.  We rely on a strong network of contracted providers, on a national basis, to provide exemplary services to these members. Each year ASH surveys its members to assess their satisfaction with services provided under their specialty care insurance and, again in 2009, members informed ASH that overall, they are over 90% satisfied with the services provided by both ASH and its Contracted Providers.

• Secure internet site “ASHLink” for online submission and status of eligibility, treatment form and claim transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week*
• Participation in ASH’s Treatment Form Waiver Program which reduces your office's administrative requirements
• Simplified forms and evidence based responses to treatment form submissions with prompt turnaround, usually less than two days 
• Access to new patients through existing and expanding health plan clients
• Reasonable fee schedules plus additional incentive payments through ASHLink
• 100% peer-to-peer evaluation and review by licensed providers
• Extra incentive options through the ASH Value Added Program
• ASH works directly with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH). Once we receive your Provider Services Agreement signature page and CAQH  identification number, we will download your application directly from CAQH.
