Continuity of Care Policy
American Specialty Health supports and improves the quality, safety, and accessibility
of services provided to its members. ASH permits continuation of care for a period
of time that allows for reasonable consideration of the potential clinical effect
of changing practitioners of healthcare services on a member’s response to treatment.
This policy reflects Core operational processes. Processes are modified to comply
with state and federal laws and regulations as applicable.
